Testimonials

  • Nada Hashwah, 19 | Jordan | Integrated Social and Cognitive Psychology

At Jacobs University I live with people from all over the world who have different ideas, values and beliefs, but are all united to share their experiences and develop the community. This is what makes Jacobs special; everyone is welcoming and enthusiastic about getting to know different people and cultures. I can represent the Arab world and my culture on campus, especially during the so-called Country Information Days, when students cook traditional food, dress in their traditional clothes, dance, and show the rest of the campus community more about their home. Eid is also a very popular event on campus, celebrated by many people with food, dances, and presentations about this special occasion. It’s great to live in such an international and small community that welcomes you dearly, respects every individual, and makes everyone work together to build a better future.
